Cake Circles & Cake Boards
FAQ:
What is the difference between a cake board, a cake drum, and a wrap-around?
A cake board is meant to create a solid base underneath a cake when decorating, but can also be used for display purposes. Typically measures less than a quarter inch thick. Is also available in limited printed foiled colors for display purposes.
A cake drum is designed to hold larger, denser cakes including tiered or barreled cakes. Used for display purposes. Typically measures half an inch thick. Available in multiple wrapped foiled colors to match your cake or make for easier fondant application.
A wrap-around is a hybrid with the thickness of a cake board and the foil of a cake drum. Great for smaller cakes that call for extra attention to detail without the bulk of a cake drum.
