FAQ:

Q: What is the difference between an embosser and a plunger cutter?

A: Embossers tend to be cutters with recessed grooving to create a pattern without cutting into the medium. They can also feature textures within the grooves. They look like traditional cookie cutters from a distance.

Plunger cutters are specific cutters that cut into the medium, sometimes with textures or veining, and then are ejected from the piece via a plunger. Just make sure to eject them gently!
