We can ship Cake Drums up to 14" in diameter.

16" Cake Drums and larger are only available for in-store pickup.
If you purchase a 16" drum or larger and select shipping at checkout we will cancel the item and refund you accordingly.

Thicker cakes call for thicker drums! Ideal for tiered cakes and denser cakes, Whalen Cake Drums are half an inch thick with a glossy finish and allover trim. Can be covered in fondant or the trim can be covered with a ribbon of your choosing (not included).

When choosing a drum, we recommend the following:

• If not adding additional decorations on the board, choose a drum two inches wider in diameter than your cake pan. (ie if the cake pan is 10" in diameter, choose a 12" diameter cake drum) This allows for easy transfer and less chance of a cake being smudged by fingers or your box during transport.
• If adding additional decorations and/or messages on the board, choose a drum at least four inches wider in diameter than your cake pan (ie if the cake pan is 10" in diameter, choose a 14" diameter cake drum or larger depending on your decorations and message)
